On the weekend of the 23rd-24th February 2024, NIPF are very proud to be hosting the first of our joint competitions with out friends in the IrPF – our second annual University Championships!
This will be held on 23d-24th Feb at Gain Forth in Belfast. If you’re planning to put up a qualifying total for national/international university competitions this year, this is the place to do it. We’re limited to a max of 28 lifters (2 flights of 14) so be sure to get your entries in quickly when we go live!
In order to lift at this event, you:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be attending University or pursuing higher education in Northern Ireland, studying for one of the below:
- Level 4 on the Framework for Higher Education qualification in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (FHEQ).
- Level 6 on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).
- Level 3 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework for England and Northern Ireland (RQF).
- Level 3 on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW).
- Level 3 Standalone QAA Access to HE Diploma.
Please also note that SubJunior lifters under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at weigh in.
